Best rock music download site I have found. I love writing reviews and rating music on this site.
You can use shockhound with your myspace account to link them together. Great site and i’m sure wont be long until http://www.myspace.com have bought them out and made it a full part of myspace. Has hot releases of new music and live gigs that are only available to community members.
If you like rock bands then this site is for you. I buy a lot of my music from here as the bigger sites like napster, real and itunes dont have these titles. Interviews are great and has a lot of free content to download or stream. Comes with it’s own player or you can use any of your own. Music is not protected which is a plus
Small site…music is DRM but too small and site loads too slow for me. If your a rock fan and dont mind slow loading pages then this site will be ok for you.
Small site but quality of music is good. Has a lot of videos aswell which are unique to shockhound. I use itunes ona daily basis but its worth visiting them every so offen to see the shockhound exclusive content. Takes paypal which is a bonus. Love it
A lot of good quality content and very cheap. Nice community and seems to be growing very quickly. Syncs music to my ipod without any problems. I love this site.

Social networking meets music shop. This is the way all music download sites should be. Great social networking site, great live performances and a lot of unique live sessions like AOL sessions. Dont know why it took me so long to find this site.

A lot of free content so it’s worth checking out. I love the community side to the site which seems to be the driving force behind it. Thousads of rock fans online….a great place.
Decent service, great community and they respond to support emails very quickly. Payment system is quick and secure.
Quality site…they are partners with myspace and have an amazing range of tshirts costing anything from $10 to $150 for unique, rare and imported tshirts that you cant find anywhere else int he USA. If you like rock and retro clothes you will love this site. Has more music than you can ever need with quick download speeds.
I love the preview feature on shockhound….it lets you preview an entire albums track with one click. I’ve been a member of shockhound for a few months and bought a lot of DRM free music. Nice and quick download speed and simple to buy from them.
Good site…has a few thousand songs to download from rock, country, hip hop, jazz and pop..It’s mainly older rock music but does have new releases. A lot of other good content and things for sale.
Shockhound is great for buying tickets online..they always seem to have tickets for last minute small gigs which you stuggle to find anywhere else. It’s US based and mostly for rock bands which I love. You can burn the music to anything you want which is really good compared to sites like itunes where you cant do anything with the music.
Very good site. I’ve been using it for 6 months and a member of the community…great play list feature allowing you to share it to other people online. Only site I know which is for rock fans and has this music music to buy.
Very easy to use and good quality music. Customer services email you within hours and the payment gateway is very secure. Does not have the selection of the big sites but it does have a lot of it’s own content that is not on any other site.
CLOTHES and girls loves them. shockhound is great for getting rock clothes it has thousands and thousands of tshirts to pick from. This site is a hidden gem! Music rocks aswell.
I dont download much from this site as I get it all from my napster account but they do have a great newsletter each week which comes with free content and great music news, charts and interviews.
Best selection anywhere of track ltd tshirts. I spent a long time trying to find imports but could only find ripped off copies on ebay. You can get the real track ltd shirts from shicjground.com.
I dont like this site…too much happening on each page they should decide if the focus is selling music or selling merchandise.
If you have a passion for music and like to talk about it then go to this site. I can review, rate, stream,download all the content it’s got a great buzz about it. Has millions of mp3s so you will never get bored. They let you copy the music to any player you have.

Great if you are in the USA. Not so good anywhere else. Site seems to only want US traffic.
I have been using shockhound since they went live and love it. I am a big rock fan and trust me you wont find this much rock music in one site with all the unique interviews and songs it’s the perfect site for a rock fan.
Millions of free legal rock music with no DRM. If only all sites were like shockhound. Website is more of a social media site that lets you review songs, albums, bands and rate them. You can see other ratings that people left, follow otherusers, see what they have bought, see the play lists they have made its a bit like facebook but with a music site built around it.
